Twin towns of the municipality of Wedemark
The municipality of Wedemark has maintained lively and friendly partnerships with the towns of Roye in France and Gislaved in Sweden for many years. These links promote cultural exchange, mutual understanding and European cooperation.

We are currently collecting proposals for a further town twinning. One option would be to forge new links along the E1 long-distance hiking trail, which runs from Norway via Wedemark to Italy. Another option would be to establish new contacts that would direct our attention towards Spain.
The municipality has also approved an application for a solidarity partnership with a city in Ukraine. The municipal administration is currently working on identifying potential partner cities and establishing initial contacts.
